No, items added directly into a shop's Backroom and then moved into the shop after 24 hours or more have elapsed do not appear in the Today's Arrivals search because that search is automated and date/time driven. Modifying an item, such as moving the item out of the Backroom, does not have the effect of changing and making the item new again by date or time.
