May 30, 2012: Large Thumbnail Square Auto-Cropping is now a new display option for Ruby Lane search results.  Shops may choose whether or not they would like it in their shop.  All shops are now set to "Site Default" which is the current look with no change. If you do nothing, your photos will display as they do today.  If however, you would like Large Thumbnail Square Auto-Cropping in your shop, go to your Edit Shop Info page, scroll down to it and select "On". At any time you can choose to return to the previous look by selecting "Off".

August 1, 2012: The site default changes to Large Thumbnail Square Auto-Cropping. Shops' items will automatically be auto-cropped square. If you do not want auto-crop square, you can return to the previous look by going to the tool on your Edit Shop Info page and selecting "Off".  You can turn this tool Off or back On at any time.

May 1, 2013: Large Thumbnail Auto-Cropping becomes standard site-wide. There is no longer the option of turning it On or Off. Shops have between now and May 1, 2013 to update their photos to accommodate the new format if they choose.  Shops can retake their photos or they can use the new Picture Editor tool to edit them.  Some shops may simply need to select a different main photo to adjust to the new editing format.

Now Until May 1, 2013: Items in General Ruby Lane search results will display according to whether the shop has chosen auto-crop square or not.
