Question Title Can I schedule a delayed start time for an item I'm sending to auction?
Yes, you can delay the start of an auction, if the auction site you use allows delayed start times. However, if you schedule an auction to 'start' at a later time keep in mind that, until the time the auction actually begins, your auction listing will not be available to our software.

For instance, when you send an item to auction on eBay using the Ruby Lane Send to Auction feature, you will be asked to enter the number for the auction in the Ruby Lane pop-up window once an auction number has been generated for you. The Ruby Lane software immediately then goes to look for that auction number. If the auction's start time has been delayed, our software will not be able to find the auction number because the auction is not currently running. Until the time your auction is scheduled to run, you will not be able to complete the link between the item listed in your shop and its auction listing.

For an auction with a delayed start time, as soon as your auction begins, you will need to send the item to auction again using the Ruby Lane Send to Auction feature in your shop. If the item is at auction on eBay, instead of actually starting another new auction, simply insert the auction's number in the left hand Ruby Lane pop-up window. Then select the auction ending time and click on Done. This will update the item to display At Auction in your Ruby Lane shop.
