Can I list an item if I don't know the maker? |
|
There may be limits to the amount of detailed information a shop owner can
readily supply for a specific item. If determination can been made that an item meets age requirements for the Lane in which it is being listed, but the maker of the item has not yet been identified, the item can still be listed.
Any keywords used in reference to the item in title or category, however, must be accurate. This means guesses as to maker in the item title or category are not allowed since those keywords may not actually apply to the item.
If a shop owner is having difficulty accurately identifying an item before placing it for sale in their shop, the "What's This?" shop is available to assist with identification.
To use the "What's This?" Shop, from any page on Ruby Lane, under the Sell
navigation bar, click Shop Owners Home.
On the Shop Owners Home page under the Manage Items section, click "What's
This?".
