Question Title What are the requirements for "Lot" listings?
  • Bulk sales or "lots" in which a single listing contains multiples or groups of items must follow these guidelines:
    • The listing cannot contain jewelry items.
    • The listing cannot contain more than 12 items.
    • Pieces that were originally manufactured by one company as part of a "set", such as cups, bowls and plates, can be listed together for a single sale price in excess of 12 items per listing.
    • In a "lot" sale each item must be of good quality and able to meet age specifications for the Lane in which it is listed.
    • So called, 'repair lots' of broken or damaged items are disallowed.
    • All items included in a listing that is a "lot" sale must be closely related within a single collecting niche.
    • If a group of items is offered in a single listing as a "lot" sale, no item from it can be sold as a "choice" to the buyer from within that listing. Items available for individual purchase should be listed separately.
  • For jewelry items, a single listing should not contain groups of unmatched jewelry pieces. Only if all items in the listing originated from the same maker and all were originally made or packaged to be part of a matching, coordinated set of pieces, can a group of multiple jewelry pieces qualify to be sold together at a single price.
