Question Title Which Lane should I list my older items that are difficult to date with certainty?
The updated requirements for the Antiques Lane state that if an item cannot be reliably dated as 100 years old or older, the item must be listed in another Lane.

If while listing you are unable to definitively establish the date of manufacture for a specific individual item to 1908 or before, then that item should be listed in another Lane, such as the Vintage Collectibles Lane.

For instance, this means that items known to have been produced in a range of years, such as from 1890 to 1910, should be listed in the Vintage Collectibles Lane if you are not sure of the specific year in that range which applies to your individual item.

Keep in mind there is a certain amount of flexibility automatically included in the Antiques Lane - 100 year rule. As the years move forward, items which do not qualify in the previous year may earn the designation 'antique' in the new year.
