Question Title What are the Glass Lane requirements?

In addition to the Common Requirements, we require Glass items, i.e. those that begin with the word Glass in the category string, to meet these quality standards:

  • Glass items must be at least 20 years old, of high quality, authentic, and not reproductions.
  • Minimum sale price for any Glass item is $5 USD.
  • Items should consist primarily of glass.
  • Glass items not yet 20 years old can qualify to be listed only if these conditions are met:
    • The specific item is referenced in a printed price guide book, or
    • The specific item is referenced in a recognized online price guide
    • The name of the printed price guide reference in which the item was found and the year the item was made are both provided within the listing.
  • Specifically excluded from being listed in Glass Lane are:
    • New items purchased or available for retail purchase in the past year.
    • Items handcrafted within the last 20 years, even if the materials are old.
  • Additional requirements for Glass: Antiques subcategory:
    • Glass: Antique items must be high quality pieces that are 100 years old or older.
    • If a manufacturer's mark is present it must be shown and be clearly readable in at least one photo.
    • Minimum sale price for any Glass: Antique item is $50 USD.
