In addition to the Common Requirements, we require Postcard items, i.e. those that begin with the word Postcards in the category string, to meet these quality standards:

• Postcard items must be at least 20 years old, of high quality, authentic, and not reproductions.
• Minimum sale price for any Postcard item is $5 USD.
• All postcards must be listed in Postcard.
• Ruby Lane strongly recommends that sellers also provide a clear photo of the back of the postcard as well as the front.
• Postcard items not yet 20 years old can qualify to be listed only if these conditions are met:
  • The specific item is referenced in a printed price guide book, or
    
  • The specific item is referenced in a recognized online price guide
  • the name of the printed price guide reference in which the item was found and the year the item was made are both provided within the listing.
• Specifically excluded from being listed in Postcards Lane are:
  • New items purchased or available for retail purchase in the past year.
  • Items handcrafted within the last 20 years, even if the materials are old.

  • Postcards: Antique items must be high quality pieces that are 100 years old or older.
  • Minimum sale price for any Postcards: Antique item is $10 USD.
