Promote your Shop |
| Ruby Lane Paid Search Clicks |
To rank your items higher in our search results, you can
optionally choose to pay for search clicks. A click occurs when a visitor is viewing the search results and clicks through to one of your items. Paying for clicks is
strictly optional to increase the exposure of your items, and can be an effective method of targeted advertising since viewers have already seen a picture of your item, the price, the title, category, and description -- before they click. You can check visitor counts to your shop on a daily basis and track the effectiveness of what you are spending for click promotions. What are Search Clicks? Also, see the Site Search topic category in our FAQ Knowledge Base for more information. |

Search Engine Submissions

Favorite Links
|
The 'Favorite Links' section of your Ruby Lane shop is an important component to selling successfully online. Utilizing high quality, reciprocal links is one way to increase the rating of an individual web page in Google and other search engines. Your shop rating influences the rank of your shop in a search result for important keywords relevant to your shops content - the type of items you sell. The higher your page rank, the greater the visibility of your website at the top of a search result. How do I set up Favorite Links? |

We ask each new shop owner when they request to open "Who referred you?" The referred shop must input your Ruby Lane shop's name or nickname at the time they request to open on Ruby Lane in order for your shop to get the credit, so please be sure they have it when referring them.
