Question Title What Does It Mean If A Ruby Lane Shop Is Exclusive?
You'll notice that on the signage under the shop's name on their home page, many have listed "Exclusively on Ruby Lane." Shops may be considered Exclusive if Ruby Lane is the only online venue through which they sell items that would qualify on Ruby Lane (with the exception of online auctions.) Shops who choose to make Ruby Lane their exclusive online sales venue for qualifying items receive promotional benefits.

We feel it is important for us to acknowledge shops who have dedicated their efforts to Ruby Lane, and that we have an obligation to support these shops who depend on us the most. We also feel that it promotes product differentiation - a cornerstone of success in a competitive environment. Some shops feel that listing on multiple sites gives them more exposure. However, many of our most successful shop owners have told us that their sales are better and their business easier to manage when they dedicate themselves to one site.
